Ana De La Torre

Ana De La Torre is the CEO and Founder of the De La Torre Firm. She has been practicing in the area of labor and employment for the past 17 years and has primarily represented employees. Ana has handled all types of employment cases involving wrongful termination, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, workplace violence and wage and hour claims. Throughout her career, Ana has negotiated hundreds of settlements, of up to six-figures, on behalf of her clients. She has represented both individual employees and groups of employees in PAGA and class action cases. Ana is licensed to practice in all state courts in California and in some federal courts, including the Central District, the Southern District, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.
Ana’s clients are diverse. She has represented employees from all walks of life and in all types of occupations. Ana passionately fights for the rights of employees because helping people move on from challenging experiences has been a calling and a rewarding experience as well. She believes we all have a right to be treated with dignity and respect in the workplace.

Background

Ana is the daughter of immigrants from Mexico and attended UCLA where she obtained a bachelor’s degree in Political Science. She was the first in her family to attend college. As a student at UCLA, Ana served as the President of the Board of Directors at the University Cooperative Housing Association, which provided housing for low-income students. In addition, Ana was among a selected few chosen to intern with California Senator Dianne Feinstein in Washington D.C.
After graduating from UCLA, Ana attended Loyola Law School in downtown Los Angeles and served as President of La Raza Law Students Association. In addition, Ana worked as a law clerk for the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission.

Ana is bilingual and is fluent in Spanish.
